Pondering: Polyfelinophilia

This is a quick recap of the last few days:
Tuesday morning: sick.
Tuesday evening: crying because I was sick.
Wednesday morning/afternoon: god-awful headache from all the crying.
Wednesday evening: crying because of the awful headache from the crying.

Tonight, my aunt and uncle asked me where I’d been the past few days, and I very briefly explained my illness, and made a passing reference to my depression, noting that while I love my cat dearly, human interaction is definitely a necessity. My uncle, a doctor, concurred, and remarked that he has coined a phrase to describe the “Cat Lady” syndrome: Polyfelinophilia.

I’m a little concerned that I’m on my way to becoming a Polyfelinophile, but thankfully I have this handy new medical term to diagnose my crazy.

Oh my! A spelling error. I took great pleasure in finding it.

I am guessing the allergens were not cat based, after all.

Cats are like boyfriends…all over you when they want something, and distant when you want something back. Perhaps this is a sort of Freudian “boy” issue? Assuming, of course, that such a thing exists.

It’s fix’d! Unless of course there was ANOTHER one that I’m not seeing.

I actually have a shirt that my Grandma gave me that says “my significant other says ‘meow’”. There may be something to your theory after all…

You need a corgi. Cats are ok, but the unbridled joy of a midget dog trying to leap up and kiss you is hilarious.

I don’t know that you need a dog. Her dogs peed on my shower curtain last week. I am not complaining, but do you ‘need’ that kind of thing in your house?
